Hera ((/ˈhɛrə/, Greek Ἥρα, Hēra)[1] is the wife and brother of Zeus and the goddess of marriage and women. Throughout mythology she is seen getting revenge and punishing those with whom Zeus cheats, as well as the illegitimate children. This carries into the Iliad, as Paris' choice of Aphrodite over her drives her to fight against the Trojans and with the Argives. </span>
